Glass carboys make great fermentors but glass is fragile. Especially when dropped onto the hard ground with 5 gallons of beer in it! The Carboy bumper was designed to preserve the life of your carboy by protecting it where it needs it most. You move your carboy around a lot and every time it bumps or knocks into the ground. The carboy bumper protects the bottom of your carboy to minimize the risk of damage from the stresses of day to day use.
The Carboy Bumper is made from high performance materials. The shock protection comes from PORON® foam. This foam absorbs shock from hard landings and bumps that overtime can create microfractures in your glass carboy. The adhesive is a specialized 3M adhesive film that is water and chemical resistant. Anti-fungal, Anti-microbial, and Anti-bacterial ensure that the Carboy Bumper will stay on even through repeated use.
These easy to use pads will fit any size glass carboy or demijohn so that you don't have to worry every time you set your carboy down. These pads are made in the USA and are cheaper than having to buy a new carboy!
