Sugarfoot Sue MaltTM joins the Gateway house malt series. The sugarfoot is a swing dance that shows off the female dancer’s footwork skill. We are excited to extend our signature malts by offering this Vienna style malt. Locally sourced barley is malted and kilned in Montgomery County, Missouri to a 2.9 SRM for more nutty and cocoa flavor and aroma profile. With excellent friability and extract potential, Sugarfoot Sue MaltTM will be a brewer favorite. We can foresee it making a Belgian Tripel or Saison; however, all ale styles can benefit from this local malt.
